Yoke & Theam is the brainchild between two creative sisters, Yoke Sin Theam and Yokie Theam, each from a different background but a shared history in shoemaking. From their shoemaking factory in Ipoh to their design studio in KL - the shoemaking sisters are changing perceptions about gender one shoe at a time.
“Our vision for the brand is we want to build confidence in women and men to not just dress according to how society wants you to be that’s why we want shoes that fits both gender because we are just human - we can dress in anything we want so...it is a freedom of expression as well as confidence that we wanted to portray.”
