The limitations of any medium for artistic communication, be it on a piece of blank canvas, on a movie screen, through the sound of music or through the delicacy of literature, often diminishes the thoughts and emotions that any artist has to offer. It is a lifetime of struggle for them to constantly try to bridge this gap between what is occurring in their heads and what they can elaborate in reality. Around The Block is a home to any artist seeking for liberty in their artistic endeavour and a space for them to freely experiment with these thoughts and emotions. It would be my pleasure to witness and document these moments.
